Congratulations to Parker Bott, 3rd grader from Browns Point Elementary PTA 10.9.50 for Outstanding Interpretation of her Music Entry "This song was written in my room using my drum set. I wrote this song because I have everything I need in my life to survive. I feel lucky to have a mom and dad who can help me and give me food. I also feel lucky to have a warm bed every night to sleep comfortably. The song title 'I am on top of the world' tells me that my family cares about me, everything will be okay, and I can be whoever I want to be."
Best wishes Parker as your entry advances to National PTA !!
Congratulations to the 2020-2021 Council Level Winners

Reflections STATE Level Winners Announced

Congratulations to 3 Tacoma PTA Students for Placing at State:
WSPTA Award of Excellence
Visual Arts, Intermediate
Rachel Sim
5th Grade
Brown's Point PTA 10.9.50
Inner Beauty
We are encouraged to look within, but I encourage you to go further and look at our impact. It's a vicious life cycle. We make a living by cutting down trees, which then depletes wildlife and natural resources which in turn accelerates Earth Overshoot Day. We always think about how to make life better: comfort, accessibility, automaticity. Ultimately, we are truly making our lives better, or are we destroying ourselves from within?
